Make Perfect Pour Over Coffee in 7 Easy Steps

Are you a coffee enthusiast looking to elevate your home brewing experience? Look no further than the Trendglas Jena Pour Over for Two German glass coffee maker. We use this awesome pour over every morning to brew delicious home made organic coffee.
This elegant coffee maker with a glass filter holder and bamboo ring is perfect for brewing 1- 2 cups of coffee. Let's dive into a step-by-step guide to brewing a fantastic cup of coffee with this innovative device.

What You'll Need:
• Trendglas Jena Pour Over for Two LA German Glass Coffee Maker
3-4 Tablespoons organic ground coffee (we offer Cafe Altura French Roast)
#2 natural filter paper - we use Melitta Natural Brown Paper Filters
• Trendglas Jena German Glass Stovetop Water Kettle (for boiling water)
2 cups Spring Water
Step 1: Prepare Your Coffee Beans
Start by selecting high-quality organic ground coffee. You can also grind your  favorite coffee beans to a medium-coarse consistency which is ideal for pour-over brewing and allows for optimal extraction of flavors.
Step 2: Preheat the Coffee Maker
Rinse the glass filter holder and filter paper with hot water to remove any paper residue over the sink. This step removes paper taste and paper filter in place.
Step 3: Measure Coffee and Water
Measure out the desired amount of coffee grounds based on your preferred coffee-to-water ratio. Adjust according to your taste preferences.
Step 4: Heat Water
Bring spring or filtered water to a temperature just below boiling, around 200°F (93°C). This temperature range is optimal for brewing coffee without scalding the grounds, leading to a well-balanced flavor profile.
Step 5: Bloom the Coffee
Place the prepped coffee grounds in the filter paper within the glass filter holder. Pour a small amount of hot water over the grounds, just enough to wet them evenly. Allow the coffee to bloom for about 30 seconds, releasing trapped gases and enhancing flavor extraction.
Step 6: Start Brewing
After the blooming phase, slowly pour the hot water over the coffee grounds in a circular motion to fill filter. Ensure even saturation for a uniform extraction and watch coffee flow to coffee pot. Repeat until coffee pot is full up to top of handle.
Step 7: Serve and Enjoy
Once the brewing is complete, carefully remove the filter holder from the coffee maker and discard the used grounds. (Add coffee grounds to plants in your garden or compost). Pour the freshly brewed coffee into your favorite mug or carafe. Take a moment to appreciate the aroma and flavors of your homemade organic coffee.
Tips for a Perfect Brew:
• Experiment with different coffee beans and roast profiles to discover unique flavor profiles.
• Adjust the grind size and coffee-to-water ratio to fine-tune your brew.
• Use a gooseneck kettle for precise water pouring control.
• Clean your coffee maker regularly to maintain optimal brewing conditions.
With the Trendglas Jena Pour Over for Two German glass coffee maker and these brewing tips, you'll be well on your way to enjoying delicious, aromatic, and organic coffee right at home. Cheers to a delightful coffee experience!
